The Chronicles of a Camper: 2014 Easter Youth Camp with Pastor Chris [Part 1]

The Chronicles of a Camper — 2014 Easter Youth Camp with Pastor Chris [Part 1]

Bringing you more on the reports of the ongoing International Easter Youth Camp 2014 with Pastor Chris from the night of Monday, April the 21st, when the youths had their first night of the teaching of God's undiluted word from the man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome PhD. It was an utterly life-changing experience for the youths at the camp. From the series of interviews that took place immediately after the life-transforming meeting last night, here's more from the youths at International Easter Youth Camp 2014

My name is Deji. I am from Baltimore, Maryland in the United States. I am in the blue team for those in the ages between 19 and 23. My Camp experience so far has been phenomenal; it has been beyond my expectations. It has been an inspirational to do more; an inspiration to reach my world with boldness.

Tonight’s session with the man of God, Pastor Chris was epic; it was just beyond words. As Pastor spoke, it was like he poured the spirit of the message into me and there was a newfound boldness with which to declare the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

It’s my birthday today 21st of April and from that special moment when the man of God prayed for me, I’ve been saying to myself that I’m the Holy Spirit spoilt's child. It was just beyond words; the love I felt from the fellow campers and love I felt from the man of God was just extra-ordinary. It took me to a new level in my love walk and the prayers, the words of prophecies were just so inspiring; they are exactly what I need right now.

I want to say thank you to Pastor Chris for making the International Easter Youth Camp happen for so many people. The impact from this camp that will be seen in 48 nations around the world is immeasurable; you can’t put a price tag on it. I just want to thank him so much for that.

I am Dolores from Austria and my team color is orange for campers between the ages of 16 and 18. I don’t have words to describe my camp experience so far; it has just been amazing! When Pastor Chris is in the room, it feels so good; it feels so amazing; I’m free, I’m flying, it’s beautiful and the Holy Spirit is right here.

The message from the man of God in tonight’s session was so powerful that I cried. It was amazing! One of the most remarkable things that Pastor said tonight that caught my attention was that the Holy Spirit is so important and many people (including Christians) don’t understand this and they really need Him in their lives.

I want to say to Pastor Chris, “You are so blessed man of God and you’re looking good (Lol). I hope that you reach more people through this means. I love you!”

And to others out there, “Guys, try it (talking about moving closer to God)! Make the step to get closer to God because when you try it, you will see that it will change your life.”

- Dolores (AUSTRIA)

My name is Flourish from Port Harcourt, Nigeria. I am in the light green team for campers between the ages of 13 and 16. My experience so far at the Easter Youth Camp has been amazing! I give God glory and I thank God I made it. It has always been my dream to be here. Last year, I was supposed to come but I had exams and couldn’t come. I am so happy that I came this year. I have been so impacted with the word of God. Boldness has come to me; I am going back to my city and my nation to change the world. The teens are going to have a different mindset because Pastor Chris has taught us how to be bold, how to relate with the Holy Spirit, how to use the name of Jesus. So, I am going to teach them how to use the name of Jesus and impact their worlds also.

One of the most striking things for me in tonight’s session was when Pastor taught us that a nation or world without the Holy Spirit is just ordinary and that we have to walk with the Holy Spirit. A nation like Nigeria walking without the Holy Spirit is just worthless. But now that we have the mindset, the Holy Spirit has to work and be manifested in greater measures in Nigeria.

I want to say to Pastor Chris, “Oh my God! Thank you so much Sir for the vision you have for youths. Thank you so much Sir. I really appreciate it.”

And to others out there right now, “Oh my God! You’re missing, please pack your bags and come here now (Lol). Don’t miss it next year because next year is going to be a higher level. I know the man of God, Pastor Chris, has higher visions and higher revelations for the youths coming next year.”

- Flourish (NIGERIA)

Completely Mind-blowing! The teaching service on Monday night saw an array of mixed emotions from the campers as all were brought to moments of sobriety, tears, laughter and so much more. There were several other testimonies last night from the campers on their first teaching class with Pastor Chris; a remarkable experience for the campers waiting on the Lord. Much more coming your way on 'The Chronicles of a Camper' for the International Easter Youth Camp 2014 with Pastor Chris. Stay with Loveworld News!
