The ‘Health for All’ programme is an initiative of the Trauma Care International Foundation, which provides free medical screening and consultation services for members of select communities, thus improving the quality of life for beneficiaries.
The highly dedicated TCIF team recently visited two taxi parks in Ojota and Masha, both in Lagos State, Nigeria, where they held ‘Health for All’ programmes. The 70 beneficiaries, which include members of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), taxi drivers, cab operators and traders, were first given a brief lecture on safety by an FRSC official, after which they received health education on hypertension and diabetes from the TCIF team. The participants also received free blood pressure and blood sugar screening as well as free medical consultation and medication.
Every life counts and TCIF is dedicated to preserving lives and improving health for all. To know more about the TCIF or to participate in any of her programmes, visit www.traumacareinternational.org.
