It was all jubilation as brethren of Christ Embassy Southern Africa Zone 5, led by the Zonal Pastor, Pastor Ruth Musarurwa, took to the streets of Harare to launch this year’s ReachOut Zimbabwe. The event, which has been held in the month of November in past years, launched on August 2, superseded prior years in impact and glory.
ReachOut Zimbabwe is an affair of great pomp, which the nation of Zimbabwe has come to associate with the BLW Nation. Enthusiastic brethren from across the zone converged at the main church in Belvedere, Harare to commence their highly vaunted, colorful procession into town. The brethren proceeded into town in a convoy of vehicles including a double-decker bus branded with the theme and regalia for this year’s outreach.
This year’s ReachOut is themed ‘Lighting Up Our Cities,’ with a focus on bringing God’s Word encapsulated in the No. 1 Daily Devotional, Rhapsody of Realities, to every Zimbabwe resident. The procession visited the Town House, the official work place of the Mayor of Harare. There, the Zonal Pastor officially presented several copies of the Messenger Angel along with goods donated by Christ Embassy Zimbabwe toward the Mayor’s Annual Christmas Cheer Fund. Contributing to the Cheer Fund, which caters to underprivileged children during the festive season, was CE Zimbabwe’s way of demonstrating support for the community and its leadership.
The procession continued to Harare Gardens, where thousands of onlookers gathered to witness the main launch. Crowds began to swell as members of the LoveWorld Music Ministry in Zone 5 ably performed Gospel hits. The Zonal Pastor then gave an inspiring speech before officially launching the free distribution of the Rhapsody of Realities. The day ended with brethren going out to win souls and distribute the Messenger Angel.
