The highly anticipated global evangelical event of the year is here, and the United Kingdom is buzzing with excitement. Ministers from over 205 countries are expected to attend the World Evangelism Conference 2019 with the man of God, Pastor Chris, and Pastor Benny, which will be taking place at the SSE Arena, Wembley.
In this report, social affairs correspondent, Helen King, recommends several options available to commuters who would require the London Public Transportation Services. It includes the cost of travel, what train lines to use, buses and preferred routes to take, with names of the closest train stations to the arena. Some options to note are as follows:
Via Underground Train, the closest tube station to the SSE Arena is the Wembley Park Station. It can be reached via either the Metropolitan or Jubilee Lines and is situated in a ‘Zone 4’ fare region. Once you arrive at the station, exit via the lift or stairs, and pass under the tunnel onto Olympic Way; do not walk up the ramps once you get to the Wembley Stadium, instead turn right. The SSE Arena is situated across the road and is approximately a 0.3 mile walk from the station, which should take about 8 minutes.
Alternatively, you could travel via the Bakerloo line to Wembley Central. This is also situated in a ‘Zone 4’ fare region. Follow signs to walk to the Arena which is about a mile away from the Station. This should take approximately 19 minutes.
Via Overground Train, Chiltern Railways run a service from London Marylebone to Wembley Stadium (which is a 15 minutes walking distance from the Arena).
Via Bus, buses 79, 83, 92, 182 and 224 all regularly run through the SSE Arena, Wembley area and can be taken from Edgware station, Wembley Central Station, Hendon Station, Sudbury Hill Station, Harrow and Wealdstone Station to mention a few.
More updates on your travel and parking are underway to help facilitate a hitch-free journey to the SSE Arena. Stay tuned.
